Sealand X Reader – Loving Friendship

Dampen with tears, Peter sits alone on a swing.  Rubbing away the tears from his eyes, he began to kick his feet.  ''It's not fair!  Why does that stupid jerk Arthur get noticed and I don't!  I don't understand it!  It's not fair!'' he stomped his feet and began pulling furiously at the swing's strings.    

Sliding down the colourful slide, you heard sounds of crying coming from nearby.  
You glanced over the slide and saw a small boy with blonde hair in a cute sailor outfit. Normally as a young nine year old, you'd think twice about asking someone if they needed help, but this was a young boy that looked a bit older than yourself.  Fixing your shirt from being so wrinkled by the slide, you headed over to the boy.  ''Excuse me…'' you said shyly, tapping him on the shoulder.  ''Are you okay?'' he looked up at you and then back on the ground.  ''M-me…?'' he pointed to himself.  You nodded, ''why are you crying?'' He began to wipe his eyes as he face began to turn red.  ''I-I'm not crying!'' he said with such dignity.  He smiled brightly as he got up from his seat.  ''I was so mad that I kicked so much dirt in my eyes that's all!'' he acted so brave in front of you.  Seeing him smile made you laugh.  ''Do you want to play?'' you asked suddenly.  There was a bit of silence as you asked him.  

Finally he replied, ''of course I want to play, let's go!''  He smiled as he looked at your face.  ''This girl is so nice to me. It's better than that stupid Brit Arthur!'' he told himself.  You began to climb up the bars to the highest slide.  All around you two, the colours arose.  Yellow, blue, red, green; all the bright colours in the world seem to have arisen with you two.  ''Here, this is a slide… it's really slippery so you have to be careful'' you told him.  ''Okay'' he stated.  ''Why don't I go first then?'' he offered.  AS he suddenly took a step he began to slip down the slide.  You took his hand and slipped after him.  ''I told you to be careful!'' you exclaimed after falling down on the ground afterwards.  ''Ouch… that really hurt…'' he whispered rubbing his head.  You sat on the ground rubbing your leg.  ''Ouch…'' you whispered as you saw the red blood on your knee.  It wasn't a big injury; even so, you still felt the sharp pain.  ''Are you okay?'' he asked rushing over to you.  ''A little bit...'' you said trying to get up.  ''Ouch….'' You said as you felt the pain in your knee.  ''I think I can sit down for now…. Just for now…''  He saw the blood on your knee and frowned.  Thinking for a bit he took his blue scarf and wrapped it around your knee.  ''There… that should help it from bleeding so much'' you smiled as you looked at his face.  ''Thank you…''
''You're welcome.  I'm sorry for not listening to you… this is my fault'' he took a seat next to you.  

For the next while, you sat and began to talk more with him.  ''So you're name's Peter right?  I'm ________'' you shook his hand and you both smiled.  ''I have a really lousy brother named Arthur… He doesn't treat me like I'm his younger brother though…'' he said pouting.  ''Hmm….'' Suddenly you saw a bird fly by across the street.  As you followed it with your eyes, you saw your parents.  They waved to you and smiled.  ''_________, let's go home now it's almost dark!  Say good bye to your friend'' with this you turned to look at Peter.  ''I have to go now Peter… I will see you the next time I come here maybe'' you said.  ''Good bye'' you waved to him.  He smiled and waved to you too, ''good bye _________, I'll see you until then!''   

As you headed into the car and drove off, you looked at him until you could no longer see his face.  ''I'm gonna miss you…'' you whispered.
